  1. To bake flax seed or not to bake... That is my question? I have seen blogs say not to but on the package is a recipe and it says to bake it right in.... What do you think?

  2. Im glad you asked this and it reminded me I am a lazy blogger and need to get on that.
    Here is the thing with flaxseeds if not crushed down into a powder they will not be absorbed into your body so you won't get the benefits your looking for. So yes bake them in but crush them into a powder first. Another great seed to do this with and get healthy benefits is Chai seeds. I would recommend keeping some extra crushed flaxed seeds around to make it more convient for you! Oh maybe I will have a recipe tomorrow with some flax seeds! Also I put them in my protien shakes but it makes the hubby a little gasy. Hehehe!
